Visual Studio Code comes with an in-built command-line tool that you can use. To bring it up, use the following key command/keyboard shortcut:
CTRL + SHIFT + ~
This will bring up the terminal in your Visual Studio Code as per the example screenshot below:
From here, you can run whatever command you want.
